The OurWorldTM Charter
Operating throughout the world
Internal
Going for NET ZERO. All organisations have different opportunities to make practical decisions and set targets for conserving energy through a multitude of avenues.
These can include:
- Optimisation, reduction, or even elimination of transport use for deliveries/commuting/meetings
- Car sharing or cycle-to-work schemes
- Bike racks and charging points
- Telling your suppliers and partners about OurWorldTM
- Reduction or conservation of heating, cooling, water and power usage
- Recycling of products and materials including paper, packaging, and plastics
- Purchasing from environmentally-accredited sources of products and/or services.
It may help to appoint an individual as your OurWorldTM champion.
The impetus will be management-led and inform all employees in writing of the organisation’s ambitions and inviting suggestions for how to make improvements, however small.
You may also choose to produce an annual report for everyone – copied to info@ourfutureworld.global – saying what has been achieved and what is targeted for the coming 12 months.
Charitable
Environmental care is a global issue and the OurWorldTM Charter addresses it globally. 50% of OurWorldTM subscriptions are shared equally between two global charities. The other 50% is used for OurWorldTM promotion and administration.

WWF is a global environmental charity working with governments, companies, communities and others who have the will to act and the power to transform our world. We are using ground breaking scientific research, global influence, and the backing of our many supporters to make sure the natural world’s vital signs are recovering by 2030.

Through Work for Good we donate to Cool Earth who champion the relationship between people, rainforest and climate. They directly fund projects throughout the world to create choice, tackle the root causes of deforestation and protect vital carbon sinks.
